Happy Kitty is designed to make you smile and feel better about yourself.
The Happy Kitty App is simple in its appearance, but profoundly effective in this application. It is the latest generation in companion apps incorporating cutting-edge psychological counseling techniques. Happy Kitty App aims to provide positive micro changes on a subconscious level while using the app.
The Happy Kitty App uses two main therapeutic techniques to achieve its goal.
The first is to use sound like a positive subconscious anchoring technique. When you click the Happy Kitty, it provides the sound of a purring cat. From the earliest age we are aware that if you hear a kitty purring, it means they are happy and content. Anchoring is the technique of placing a thought, touch or sound and tying it to an emotional feeling. For example, many couples have a song that represents them as a unit. Any time it is played on the radio they always feel more connected with their partner. When we are younger, and our mothers call us by our name in a certain tone we know as children that we are in trouble for doing something wrong. The Happy Kitty App uses the sound anchoring technique to reinforce positive messages into the subconscious.
The second major part of the Happy Kitty App is the messages themselves. Even though they may appear very simple they can affect micro-emotional changes to the person reading them. For example, if a child, teenager, or an adult is lonely and they receive, "With you I always have a friend," this message will momentarily break the cycle of loneliness. Sometimes knowing that there is someone out there that likes you, even if it is an app, helps make you feel better about yourself. Another message will work for someone who just needs to take a second and take a deep breath, relax and let go of stress.
Not all messages will work all the time or for all people. The effectiveness of the messages is based on the momentary subconscious needs of the person receiving them.
These subconscious messages from Happy Kitty App are different than affirmations. Affirmations are an attempt to say something nice and give you some hope about now and in the future. For example, "Every day I'm growing richer and richer. " It is a nice thought, but it's not based on the person's needs, only on a person's hope. Subconscious messaging is based on tapping into the emotional needs and wants of a person even if they are not currently aware of it for themselves.
